A man was injured late Monday when he was shot while trying to get two family members to leave a party he was throwing at a southeast Houston apartment, officials said. Officers around 10 p.m. responded to a report of a shooting in the 8300 block of Park Place Boulevard and found a man with two gunshot wounds, Lt. J.P. Horelica of the Houston Police Department told Metro Video Services reporters. The man was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.Witnesses told police the man and his fiancé were throwing a party when two uninvited family members appeared, Horelica said.
