A man pleaded guilty in the 2021 shooting of a Midlothian couple in a car in DeSoto, which killed one and injured the other, according to Dallas County court records.McMaryion initially faced a capital murder charge in Thornhill’s slaying. He entered plea agreements for the charges and was sentenced on March 13, records show. McMaryion’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.Shortly after 9 p.m.
McMaryion told the detectives that when he walked up to the vehicle and pulled on the door handle, he realized it was occupied. McMaryion told the investigators that he was startled by the occupants and began shooting into the vehicle’s window before running away, according to the affidavit.
