Authorities in Utah confirmed the discovery of a deceased male on the Canyon Overlook Trail in Zion National Park. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about a possible fall and found the man dead. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office said the Consolidated Communications Center received a call about a hike possibly falling at the park. "The Washington County Sheriff’s Office expresses our gratitude to Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue, Zion Park Rangers, and the Zion Technical Search and Rescue for their assistance," posted on its Facebook page. This is the second deadly fall in recent months at Zion National Park. In October, the CEO of a Utah-based software company tragically died after falling 200 feet while climbing in Zion National Park in Springdale, Utah, according to officials.
