A 55-year-old man was found dead in his apartment Sunday morning, Arlington police announced in a news release.

About 11:40 a.m., officers responded to an apartment complex in the 800 block of North Center Street. According to the release, a resident who called 911 said she noticed her neighbor’s window broken and saw him lying on the floor covered in blood when she went to investigate.Officers found the man, who was not identified, with extensive trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
As of about 5 p.m., police said they did not have any suspect information, and urged anyone with knowledge of the incident to contact detective Coffer at 459-5735.Julia is a breaking news reporter with the Dallas Morning News.
