A 36-year-old man was fatally stabbed early Sunday outside a nightclub in west Houston, officials said.

Officers at around 4 a.m. Sunday received a call that a man arrived at a hospital with multiple stab wounds, according to the Houston Police Department. The man was declared dead at Altus Houston Hospital on West Sam Houston Parkway.Witnesses told police the man had been stabbed in the parking lot outside a nightclub in the 5700 block of South Gessner Road.Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the homicide division, 713-308-3600.
