A 30-year-old man was killed on the subway Monday after a former Marine placed him in a choke hold during what police said was a fight.
According to video and eyewitness accounts given to the press, the victim, Jordan Neely, was yelling on a northbound F train on Monday afternoon a little after 2 p.m. “He said he had no food, he had no drink, that he was tired and doesn’t care if he goes to jail,” witness Juan Alberto Vazquez. “He started screaming all these things, took off his jacket, a black jacket that he had, and threw it on the ground.
