Manchester City and the Premier League haven’t been speaking to the media about the 115 charges case despite leaks being reported in the press over the past week.it’s “disappointing” the parties involved haven’t revealed a timeline for the hearing as it remains unclear when a final conclusion could be reached.
Man City were dealt the charges by the Premier League in February 2023 for allegedly breaching the financial fair play rules over a nine-year period.reported on 12 August the hearing date has now been brought forward to mid-to-late September after it was originally planned to take place in November.
The newspaper said the hearing is scheduled to last 10 weeks and a verdict is likely to be delivered in early 2025.But Borson revealed it remains unclear where the “leak” has come from after there has been no official update on the timeline.“From what I hear, none of the parties are speaking, so it’s still unclear where this leak has come from.
