A 31-year-old man was charged in the Magistrate's Court here with murdering a woman in a shopping centre, Kota Kinabalu, last month.
Chung King Fung @ Haider Daniel Chung Abdullah was brought before Magistrate Lovely Natasha Charles on Monday.Chung, a company personal assistant, was accused of committing the offence to one Nurul Ain Silien, 21, between 12 noon and 12.20pm on May 29, at an outlet in a shopping mall, here. The charge under Section 302 of the Penal Code carries the death penalty on conviction.
