Police have arrested a 23-year-old Dallas man in connection to a shooting that killed a woman and injured two others in Garland on Sunday, police said in a statement Tuesday.
Police responded to a call on the 2600 block of West Walnut Street near Shiloh Road just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday, according to a Sunday news release.Early investigations found that a disturbance in a business parking lot escalated into a fight involving multiple people, including Sergio Nicolas Jaramillo Jr. of Dallas, according to police. Jaramillo shot three people in the altercation, police said.
Around 1 a.m. Tuesday, Jaramillo turned himself in to police. He is being held at Garland Detention Center, police said, and no bail has been set., Staff Writer.
