Dallas police arrested a 50-year-old man for shooting a 2-year-old girl over the weekend.Court documents reveal it may have been a case of road rage in a Far East Dallas neighborhood.It happened around 8 p.m. Sunday on Sweetwater Drive near Interstate 30 and Ferguson Road.Jason Cain is in the Dallas County jail on multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and injury to a child.Police say a family on a Door Dash delivery turned onto a street where Cain was riding his motorcycle.
Police say witnesses identified the shooter as 50-year-old Jason Cain, who lives in the neighborhood.Before witnesses identified him, police say Cain spoke to officers when they got to the scene. He told them that the "drug dealers that were involved in the shooting were down the street."It’s the same story Huseman heard from Cain."He said, ‘Oh yeah, that was me on the motorcycle. But I don’t think I saw anything,’" she recalled.
