GEORGE TOWN: A man was caught on camera spitting on the lift buttons at a flat believed to be in Sungai Ara here.

In the clip, the man who was carrying a sling bag entered the elevator and pressed a button to get to his unit.

He was then seen counting banknotes in his hand. A few seconds later, he suddenly spat at the buttons.There were also comments claiming that the man might be trying to spread germs or Covid-19 to the public.
