Zavala County Sheriff’s Office said around 7 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a suspicious male making inappropriate comments to minors near North 12th Avenue and East Chambers Street. Authorities located a man matching the description, identified as Felipe Saucedo Jr. During a consensual encounter, deputies discovered Saucedo had an active out-of-county warrant from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office. When they attempted to take him into custody, Saucedo fled toward Benito Juarez School. A Taser was deployed to stop the pursuit, but Saucedo allegedly tried to run again, removing the Taser probes during a brief struggle before he was taken into custody.Officials said a search of Saucedo’s backpack revealed a bag containing a green leafy substance and a glass pipe.
