Authorities in Berkeley have arrested a 27-year-old man from Emeryville in connection with a violent assault that occurred earlier this month. Two victims were attacked at a Fairview Street residence on January 12th, resulting in multiple injuries for one victim. “During that incident, the suspect allegedly participated in a physical assault that left one victim with multiple injuries,” police said.The man was taken into custody Tuesday outside an Emeryville residence. Police said an illegal firearm was also recovered.
