A suspect was apprehended after being found hiding near the body of a deceased man who was discovered in a car following reports of gunshots.
A man was arrested on suspicion of murder after Commerce City police officers found him hiding near a dead body early Sunday morning. Officers responded to reports of gunshots near East 62nd Avenue and Jasmine Court on Sunday, according to a 6:43 a.m. statement. When they arrived, officers found a dead man inside a car near the intersection and another man hiding nearby.
The man hiding near the crime scene was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder Sunday afternoon and booked into the Adams County Detention Facility
