Police arrested a Brook Park man Nov. 15 after he threw coffee on a worker at Einstein Bros. Bagels, 6799 Pearl Road, in Middleburg Heights.
MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio –A Brook Park man, 59, was arrested at about 9 a.m. Nov. 15 after he threw coffee on a worker at Einstein Bros. Bagels, 6799 Pearl Road, in Middleburg Heights.
The man felt disrespected and became angry. He slammed a metal coffee container on the counter. The worker told the man he didn’t have to return to Einstein Bros. if he continued to cause a disturbance.The man put up his fists while facing the worker, and the worker did the same. The man picked up his hot coffee and moved toward the worker. He flicked the coffee out of the cup and onto the worker’s head, neck and chest.
