A man was arrested for stabbing another man in the chest in Seattle 's Mt. Baker neighborhood, leaving him hospitalized Monday afternoon. At around 2:39 p.m., Seattle police received reports of a stabbing that occurred in the 3800 block of Rainier Ave. When police arrived, they found a 37-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the chest.
Police continued to note that the victim was treated and taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he was reported to have suffered 'non-life-threatening injuries.' The suspect is a 57-year-old man who came into the store and appeared to be in crisis, police said. He then proceeded to have a 'non-confrontational' conversation with the victim before ultimately stabbing the 37-year-old. Police said the suspect then tried to enter a storage facility that employees had locked themselves into. The 57-year-old man was arrested without incident and booked into the King County jail for assault, according to Seattle police
