It happened on Wednesday morning
It's believed to have happened at around 7:30am on Wednesday morning, and police were called to the property on Wellesley Avenue, in South Belfast.
"He had belongings in his arms. It was very scary for this to happen at such an early time of the morning because I was half asleep and taken aback by it. A PSNI spokesperson said officers have arrested a 39-year-old man following the report of burglaries in South Belfast this morning, Wednesday September 13.
"Enquiries into these incidents are ongoing and anyone with any information that might assist with the investigation, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 211 13/09/23.
