Shortly after 5 p.m. Aug. 6, Fort Worth police officers were notified someone had been shot and was at the parking lot of a gas station in the 300 block of Clifford Center, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit obtained byOfficers found the teen who had been shot inside a 2004 Dodge Stratus at the location. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the affidavit stated.
The witness told investigators he got into the Sentra and took the marijuana out of a pink-colored backpack to show O’Neal, who “never showed him any money,” according to the affidavit. The two armed men then got into O’Neal’s car and drove away with the pink backpack, the witness told police. The witness said he got back to the Dodge and drove to the gas station for help, the affidavit stated.Investigators went to a fast food restaurant where O’Neal had been employed and obtained her Fort Worth home address.
O’Neal confirmed to investigators she had agreed to buy $700 worth of marijuana, and said Young had driven the Nissan to the drug transaction, and she got into the driver’s seat of the car after they parked, the affidavit stated.
