MALAYSIA’S coronavirus fatality rate stands at 0.25% with two deaths out of 790 infections, said the Health Ministry. This is much lower than in neighbouring Indonesia, which has the highest Covid-19 death rate in Asean at 8.4% , and the Philippines’ 7% .
