The debate over genders has exploded in recent months and hit a fever pitch when Bud Light featured a pitch to younger drinkers by using a trans influencer. The public rejected the campaign, and sales have tanked 30%. The new survey also found that majorities support laws barring hormone replacement therapy and sex changes for minors.“Several states have recently enacted legislation prohibiting transgender treatment for minors. Sixty-two percent of Americans approve of legislation making it illegal to perform sex-change surgery on minors,” the poll analysis said.
It added, “Fifty-nine percent of Americans approve of laws making it illegal to give hormone replacement therapy to minors, including 59% who strongly approve.”
