Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident between Manchester Victoria and Newton-Le-Willows all lines are blocked. TransPennine Express said services between Manchester Victoria and Liverpool Lime Street will be delayed, cancelled at short notice or diverted via Warrington Central. Journey times will be extended as a result.
