man who hasn't been seen since a suspected solo boating expedition in Lake Macquarie yesterday morning.
Police believe the 43-year-old may have launched his boat from lake access at Bolton Point at around 10.30am yesterday.A sea and air search is underway for missing boatie Ashley McKellar off the coast of Lake Macquarie, with the Marine Area Command and the Australian Maritime Safety Authority assisting in the search.
Rescue teams have searched the lake and are now searching offshore from the lake access point at Swansea up to Anna Bay - an area stretching some 70 kilometres.
