Harris County Deputies have arrested Benjamin Williams, a repeat offender, after he was discovered in possession of counterfeit mailbox keys and stolen mail checks.
deputies pursued Williams in a vehicle that refused to stop, traveling northbound on Stuebner Airline Road. The pursuit ended when deputies managed to stop the vehicle at FM 2920 and SH 99, with no injuries reported.In Williams’ 2022 arrest, he and a juvenile girl were caught with stolen mail from a Spring neighborhood. Deputies discovered them after responding to reports of mailbox theft in the 6000 block of Oak Creek Lane. Williams and the girl attempted to flee but were arrested.
“Benjamin Williams was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle,” stated Constable Mark Herman in a press release. “His bond and court information have not been set at this time.
