KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) is unlikely to move in direct lockstep with the US Federal Reserve’s (Fed) aggressive move which slashed interest rates by a half-point during its Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting yesterday.
KLUANG: Despite their decision to sit out the Mahkota polls, Malaysian United Democratic Alliance and Parti Pejuang Tanah Air are still involved in the by-election through their support for Perikatan Nasional, says Datuk Seri Azmin Ali .
“So, the fact that they are here tonight shows a good message that they will help us in the election,” he told reporters when met during a PerikatanAzmin added that he would also be heading to Muda acting-president Amira Aisya Abd Aziz’s wedding on Saturday .“Let her have a few days for a honeymoon, then hopefully, Muda will continue helping us in Mahkota,” he said.
He added that Pejuang and its president Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir, have also thrown their support to Perikatan and expressed their willingness to assist in the election.
