Cedar Hill ISD Detective Eric Roberts came to the aid of a 1-year-old, who accidentally locked himself in a rental car. In worst-case scenarios, people have either become ill or died because of the dangerous hot weather. This time that was averted.
Cedar Hill ISD Detective Eric Roberts came to the aid of a 1-year-old, who accidentally locked himself in a rental car. The outside temperature was 103 degrees, so inside the vehicle it was much worse.
According to CHISD, on Monday, a family came to enroll a child in elementary school at the Lacy Enrollment Center. However, when they got back to the car, they couldn’t enter since the 1-year-old had locked it from the inside. Once Roberts arrived, he asked the parents if it was all right for him to bust out the window to rescue the child.
