A ridge of high atmospheric pressure is developing over the western United States on Friday, and it’s expected to move over the middle of the country during the next few days. Here in South Texas , it will result in dry weather through the weekend, and it’s going to cause temperatures to stay above average for several days in a row. Temperatures could reach 90 degrees in parts of South Texas during the early or middle part of next week.
Here’s when San Antonio typically sees it’s first 100-degree day of the year. Friday’s forecast Relatively cool weather is expected early in the morning. Enjoy it, before the heat arrives over the next several days. Lows will fall into the low to mid-50s between 5 and 8 a.m., but they’ll quickly rise throughout the day. Temps will reach 70 degrees just after 10 a.m., and they’ll continue to rise to the low 80s by the afternoon.
