Wed, May 1st 2024 at 8:40 PMFaith Friendship Villa is the home to dozens of adults that face intellectual disabilities or mental illnesses.Friends and family of residents, who live at the personal care home rallied at the state capitol today. Tammi Morris the executive director said Governor Josh Shapiro’s Office isn't helping them with funding, which is the reason for the rally. Morris describes the situation they’re in right now as a crisis.
“We have about a $40,000 deficit a month between what the residents can afford to pay and what we actually need to take care of them,” explained Morris.“No I don’t know where I would go no,” said resident Glenn Gruber.
