The early season misadventures for American F1 driver Logan Sargeant continued in Japan on Friday.Back in action after being forced to give up his car to teammate Alex Albon at the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne after Albon crashed in practice and needed a ride, this time Sargeant was the one who had the mishap.The Florida native crashed during Friday's first practice session in Japan, putting his car's status for the rest of the weekend in doubt.
'You've sort of given them a very difficult situation to deal with, through no fault of their own. But he was honestly in a very good state of mind this week.'And last night again when I called him at about 9, 10 p.m., really, really strong state of mind—just wanted to get back into the car and get going, but not with the intention of proving to the world he deserves a seat, just his normal approach to things.
