Geneseo, N.Y. — Livingston County is aiming for all its homes and businesses to have high-speed internet by the end of 2026.
“They’re really locked out from a lot of the world because our world revolves around internet connection,” said Patricia Moran of Avon. The project began in 2018 with the goal of bringing everyone in the county up to speed with the rest of the state. “We were very happy to hear that,” Ray said. “We’ve been after it for years, and this is like a godsend to us.”
