The shooting was immediately placed the school on lockdown, prompting a large law enforcement response and student reunification efforts.The student was pronounced dead at the scene. Comal County Sheriff’s officials said this is NOT an active shooter situation. There is no threat to any students at this time.School officials initially said the campus was secure and the threat contained, but later announced students would be transported to Bulverde Middle School, located at 29975 Wiley Road, for reunification with parents.
