Another Cooplands store to close - this time on Lincoln High Street 😔
A fifth Cooplands bakery in Lincolnshire is to close since March this year, as the site at Lincoln High Street prepares to shut this weekend.
The branch on Lincoln’s High Street, at the corner of the Tentercroft Street junction, only opened in late 2019.It is the fifth Lincolnshire-located Cooplands bakery to close in the last three months – following the shutting of stores on Woodhall Drive in the Ermine section of Lincoln, Hykeham Green Shopping Centre, Sleaford and Alford.
Cooplands have previously said that these closures are part of a focus on “long-term and sustainable growth” for the business. The High Street branch does still appear on Cooplands’ list of store locations, but reporters were told by a member of staff that it would be closing this weekend.Bakeries can still be found in Lincoln, Boston, Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Skegness, Mablethorpe, Coningsby, Horncastle, Market Rasen, Louth, Gainsborough, Immingham, Brigg and more.
