Limpopo is battling a scourge of domestic violence crimes with no end in sight, as these cases have been on the rise since the beginning of the year.
The latest crime statistics announcement comes following the murder of a 32-year-old woman, Dr Tshimangadzo Muofhe. Police spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said the motive for the shooting was unknown, but domestic violence could not be ruled out.It's really hard to monitor or police domestic violence and GBV crimes because we can't send police vans and patrol teams to patrol families and their bedrooms. It just can't happen.
