Lilo & Stitch Disney+ Release Date Set for Live-Action Remake’s Streaming Debut

The Lilo & Stitch Disney+ release date has been revealed for the latest blockbuster live-action remake of an animated Disney classic.

During its theatrical run, the movie earned a worldwide gross of over $1 billion at the box office, making it the highest-grossing live-action/animated hybrid to date. “This reimagination of a Disney animated classic brings new energy into the hilarious and heart-warming tale of Lilo and her unconventional adopted ‘pet’ Stitch.

The ensemble cast includes Chris Sanders as the voice of Stitch, Zach Galifianakis as the voice of Dr. Jumba, Maia Kealoha as Lilo Pelekai, Billy Magnussen as the voice of Pleakley, Sydney Agudong as Nani, Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles, Kaipo Dudoit as David, Amy Hill as Tūtū, Tia Carrere as Mrs. Kekoa, and Jason Scott Lee. The adaptation was produced by Rideback’s Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, with Tom Peitzman, Ryan Halprin, Louie Provost, and Thomas Schumacher serving as executive producers.
