Level plains plans to renovate park for children.
LEVEL PLAINS, Ala. - Council members in Level Plains are trying to increase the number of children active in sports and activities.To jump-start this initiative, they’ve applied for the $50,000 Hometown Grant to get more park equipment.The foundation plans to donate supplies to the project and use the park to host matches for a youth soccer league.“I’ve been a councilman here for the past three years,” said Burrows.
