Dallas Morning News
A poll watcher observes election workers as they unload ballots and other voting records being delivered to the Dallas County Elections offices on election night, Nov. 8, 2022, in Dallas.— Kudos to the brave election poll workers who stepped up to work the elections, given the uncertainty of their safety in today’s political environment. These patriots ensure the basic right to vote is available in their neighborhoods or hometowns.
The fact that many of the poll workers are senior citizens makes their decision to show up and work the polls even more commendable. We should be thankful these workers recognize the right and need for elections in our democracy and serve as integral parts in our democratic process. Thank you all for your civic contribution.— Last Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs football team beat the No. 1 Texas Longhorns.
