Before this current district was drawn, my community had a long history of bipartisan state representatives supportive of our neighborhood schools and opposed to voucher schemes — Tony Goolsby, Linda Koop and Ana-Maria Ramos. Would Sam Eppler provide better policies? It’s impossible to know from this analysis of Eppler vs. incumbent Beth Van Duyne, but based on the Democrats’ and Republicans’ records of the last eight years, it is highly unlikely.
