Readers aren’t thrilled about casinos coming to Texas; support voter IDs; criticize Kamala Harris’ border inaction; suggest a few vice presidential candidates; and tout laughter as the best medicine.
They seem to believe that if something is illegal, no one does it. Undocumented immigrants also cannot legally sneak across the border, collect welfare or seek employment, but millions still do. Is anyone shocked to find that illegal activity is going on here?Deceased persons cannot vote, nor those who have moved out of state, but many do. Have you heard of anybody exhumed or extradited to stand trial? Without voter ID, we don’t know who cast those votes.
Re: “Trump Can Squash Harris ‘Birther’ Drivel — Racist lies should never be part of politics,” Monday editorial. Aaron Sorkin suggested Mitt Romney.
