No theologian, using the Bible, has been able to show that God disapproves of an abortion in the first 22 weeks of pregnancy. Seven states made a godly choice in approving abortion rights. Even 53% of Floridians approved. Another thing my dad taught me was to never look at anyone else in the washroom. We each had our own privacy bubble that no one should pierce.We learned that there were kids who were different from us. We shouldn’t stare at them and we shouldn’t make fun of them. We shouldn’t “other” them. And we shouldn’t be making a political issue of them.
I respect Daly’s abhorrence of elective abortions. However, is Texas’ soaring maternal mortality since the Dobbs ruling really family values? Does Daly really believe that my wife should have died on that hospital table when her mid-1990s pregnancy went south?I distinctly remember hearing Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick on television several months ago saying that the Legislature would vote on school vouchers twice and if it didn’t pass, it would get sent to the voters for approval.
