Photo by Kayle NeisI am well aware that the sins of our forefathers need to be acknowledged. I also realize that John A. Macdonald Road is a very long, cumbersome name. But “miyo-wah-kohtowin Road” is a bit of a mouthful. Try saying that to a 911 operator!
Try spelling that one when trying to find that on your cell. I live on Avenue G North, which even confuses computers — and even the city’s own website., and more Indigenous involvement. But we need an address that the fire department and food delivery services and people can say and spell. We have other hard-to-handle addresses.
