SHAH ALAM: Selangor police have advised the public to refrain from social activities throughout the movement control order (MCO) period.
State deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed said all forms of social activities and outdoor movements must be ceased.“Do not attend any ceremonies or gatherings during this period, ” he said in a statement Wednesday .
He said the public should follow the orders made under Section 342 of the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 to prevent the spread of Covid-19.“Do not easily believe news spread by irresponsible parties via social media and messaging applications, which can lead to anxiety within the community, ” he said.Article type: free
