A precautionary lockdown at Lehman High School was lifted Monday afternoon after officials determined there was no threat on campus. The school went into lockdown at 3:50 p.m. after students reported that another student may have had a gun, according to Hays CISD.
District officials said the information was unconfirmed, but administrators acted immediately out of an abundance of caution and began a search of the campus.By 4:15 p.m., families were notified that the school had been cleared of any potential danger. The lockdown was lifted using standard protocol, which requires a room-by-room release process.
