juggernaut alongside the avengers logo
Juggernaut is making a surprise cameo in the Avengers' latest release, starring alongside heavyweights like Magneto and the Hulk. And fans of the towering heavyweight will be thrilled to see that he's rocking a version of his classic costume - as well as the team he's starring alongside.
Juggernaut has appeared in multiple adaptations, played by Vinnie Jones in X-Men: The Last Stand and voiced by Ryan Reynolds in 2024's Deadpool 2 Juggernaut is one of the X-Men's mightiest enemies, and there are hopes he'll appear in some fashion in the upcoming Avengers: Secret Wars. However, before that, fans get a very different way to enjoy the unstoppable force... Marvel Has Revealed What New Avengers Special's Juggernaut Looks Like Juggernaut can be seen in LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails, available now on Disney+. The two-part animated special sees Earth's Mightiest Heroes go up against the mind-controlling villain Sphinx, with Hawkeye assembling a team of cat-themed Avengers However, before Sphinx is in the picture, the Avengers have to deal with Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants. The leader is voiced by Jason Alexander and backed up by classic villains Pyro, Sabretooth and Juggernaut himself, voiced by Rob Riggle. Juggernaut wears a version of his classic comic costume, with brown armor, a domed helmet, and a set of arm bracers and knuckledusters. How Does The New Avengers Special's Juggernaut Compare To Other Versions Of The Marvel Antihero? While Juggernaut has joined the Brotherhood in the comics multiple times, he's actually something of an odd pick for the team, as he's not really a mutant. In the original lore, Juggernaut's powers come from a possessed gem, with the demonic Cyttorak channeling him power based on how much destruction he causes. Juggernaut is most frequently depicted as a dim-witted enforcer, however he does have a deeper side. Traumatized by his abusive father, Juggernaut bucks against any and all forms of authority, and loathes his step-brother Xavier, who received his father's respect during the short time they lived together. In modern comics, Juggernaut is actually somewhat heroic, joining up with the X-Men to fight for mutant rights. Sadly, like his prior movie appearance, LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails appears far more interested in the dim-witted strongman version of the character. Hopefully, someday soon, Juggernaut will get some credit for the deeper aspects of the character. 5.2/10 6/10 LEGO Marvel Avengers: Strange Tails 10 stars 9 stars 8 stars 7 stars 6 stars 5 stars 4 stars 3 stars 2 stars 1 star Like Follow Followed PG Animation Sci-Fi Action Adventure Superhero Release Date November 14, 2025 Network Disney+ Directors Ken Cunningham Writers Eugene Son, Henry Gilroy Cast
