Stewart — who hasn’t officially declared this a farewell tour, by the way — is set to perform at the new $46 million amphitheater on Aug. 2, 2025, with opening act Cheap Trick. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. concert go on sale Friday, Nov. 22, at 10 a.m. CT. Prices for the Birmingham date are $59.50, $79.50, $99.50, $129.50 and $175, plus service charges, according to promoter Live Nation.
Pre-sales start on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m. CT and run through Thursday, Nov. 21, at 10 p.m. CT, according to the Stewart, 79, a sandpaper-voiced rock star with a slew of classic hits, hasn’t been a frequent visitor to Birmingham in recent years. However, he has performed here in the past, includingHis “One Last Time” tour is touted as a greatest-hits showcase for Stewart, whose career dates back to the 1960s. He famously fronted the rock band Faces before launching a solo career, and has a long list of studio albums to his credit.
Stewart’s concert at the Coca-Cola Amphitheater is the third show announced for the outdoor concert venue in Birmingham, which is set to open in June 2025. Live Nation made its, a 9,380-seat venue, is owned by the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex and managed by Live Nation.
