Mexican journalist and news anchor Jorge Ramos announced that he'll leave Univsion at the end of 2024 after 40 years at the network.

for 40 years, will leave the network at the end of the year. Ramos announced his departure during Monday’s Noticiero Univision broadcast, revealing that he would not be renewing his contract with the company.

“I have something personal to share. I’m leaving Univision. The company and I decided to not renew our contract which expires at the end of the year,” he said in Spanish. “I’ll be with this newscast until December. It has been a hard, sad decision that took a lot of time to make. This is how 40 years end with Univision, 38 of which were with Noticiero. Seventeen of which I anchored.
