Stephania Taladrid interviews the legendary newscaster Jorge Ramos, a staple of Univision for decades, on how the Latino population in America is changing politically.

Jorge Ramos had landed in Los Angeles a year before that prognostication, with a small suitcase and a guitar. He had grown up in Mexico City in the nineteen-sixties and seventies, a time when the Institutional Revolutionary Party wielded absolute power and democracy seemed like an abstraction. As a young man, he considered running for office, but, instead, he found his way to the radio station XEW, in Mexico City, where he got a job cutting news wires by hand.

So, it might not be me, but someone else will have to do that. But those interviews might last only a minute or so. Yeah. I mean, I talked for seventeen minutes with Maduro, and I was ejected from a press conference with Trump after just a few seconds, and I spoke for about a minute with Fidel Castro. And it doesn’t matter, because the point is to let them know that we are going to be questioning them constantly.
