After receiving more than 200 entries, the winner of the ALBBAA Big Buck Photo Contest is a 5-year-old boy from the Salem community.

Jacks Benton harvested his first buck while hunting on a plot of family land in Russell County . His father, Brad Benton , snapped a photo of the memorable moment and submitted it to the 13th annual contest.

The image of Jacks and his 10-point buck received the most online votes. The winning photo in the Alabama Black Belt Adventures Association’s 13th annual Big Buck Photo Contest, which shows Jacks Benton, a 5-year-old who lives in the Salem community in Lee County, with the 10-point buck he harvested.“Alabama’s Black Belt offers some of the very best whitetail deer hunting available anywhere in America, and the fact that we received more than 200 photo entries into our contest this year proves it,” ALBBAA director Pam Swanner said. “We appreciate everyone who entered the contest and everyone who cast a vote this year.
