Lathrop punches their ticket to the State Championship Game this Saturday.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Lathrop played against Eagle River in the Semi Final State Championship Playoffs this past Saturday in Fairbanks. It would be a battle in the first quarter and then the football goliath of the interior woke up.
The Wolves running back would take advantage of a broken tackle to reverse the field and go the opposite way to take the lead for Eagle River 12 to 6 after a failed two point conversion. A big defense stop would wake up the sleeping goliath of the interior, with Zeddy Fanene providing the mortar to the brick wall of a solid Lathrop defense.
