No injuries have been reported.SAN ANTONIO - A large grass fire burning across a wide swath of Hickory Forest in southern Guadalupe County is threatening nearby residences and other structures. The sheriff’s office said it is currently responding to the fire and urged people in the affected area to leave if they feel they are in danger. “Please be aware of this developing situation,” the sheriff’s office said in a social media post. “If you feel you are in danger or are in the affected area, evacuate immediately and prioritize your safety.” Officials also warned residents not to try to fight the fire themselves. “Do NOT attempt to fight the fire yourself—let trained responders handle it,” the post said.
