BREAKING: Lancashire man denies attempting to murder police sergeant
Morgan Evans, from Chorley, appeared at the Old Bailey today over the alleged incident on January 17.
On that date, it is alleged he attempted to murder Police Sergeant Matthew Bushell, attempted to cause grievous bodily harm to Police Constable Rob Wood with intent, and possessed cannabis, a class B drug.Mr Justice Baker set a two-week trial at Manchester Crown Court from August 7 before Judge Patrick Field KC.
Evans, who appeared by video link from Preston jail, was remanded into custody until a further hearing on June 30.
