A car crashed into a home in Chicago's northwest suburbs on Wednesday.
A northwest suburban neighborhood was shaken Wednesday afternoon when a car crashed into a home, leaving the vehicle almost entirely inside.The crash occurred at 2:22 p.m. in the 400 block of Ridge Court near the Boulder Ridge Country Club.When crews from the Huntley Fire Protection District arrived, they found the driver, a man, had exited the vehicle. No one else was inside the car.
Residents were home at the time of the crash but no injuries were reported. SkyFOX video captured the aftermath, showing the car lodged through a wall of the home. Tire tracks in the backyard indicate the car veered off the road before hitting the house.Fire crews worked with the Lake in the Hills Police Department, the village’s building and zoning department, and a tow truck company to remove the vehicle from the home.
